"Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world, indeed it's the only thing that ever has."

Margaret Mead

Dear David,

Wishing you abundance for the New Year!

In this time of celebration, compassion, and spirit of giving to others let us take time to give thanks for all of the abundance in our lives. We have had a wonderful year together as we celebrate our purpose of changing the world in by being Daymakers.

Here are a few words that capture the qualities of abundance for me that I joyfully embrace:

Abounding, Bountiful, Boundless, Creamy, Eternal, Expansive, Fertile, Fruitful, Infinite, Luscious, Overflowing, Plentiful, Prosperity, Thanksgiving, Treasure, Umpteen, Unlimited.

To carry these qualities and embrace them with reverence is so much fun. Many people in the world live in a continued state of lack or scarcity because of their never-ending desire for more. The fact is that when you realize nothing is lacking, the world belongs to you. Abundance comes from how you feel internally not from external rankings, comparisons, opinions, possessions, or associations.

What I have come to realize is that in order to have something, I must first be something. This is the only possession that truly matters in life.

Having love, happiness, bliss, joy, wealth, respect, and abundance all start first being that quality ourselves. If we love, we will have love; if we are respectful, we will have respect. Many frustrated people find that they want to have that which they are unwilling or afraid to become first. When you first see yourself as wealthy, true wealth is not far behind.

I have so much fun becoming the qualities I want more of in my life. You’ll find that becoming what you want is what gets you out of bed in the morning. It’s all fun and less work than worrying about what you don’t have.

Celebrating what we do have and becoming more of what we want in our lives has been the greatest gift for as a family. So as we head into this great time of sharing gifts and best wishes for a new year, I humbly thank you all from the bottom of our heart for being in my life. I give thanks for the abundance of being part of something so important, the spirit we share together on this journey of Daymaking.

With love,

David Wagner

PS, I wanted to share something with you from my friend and fellow author, Debbie Ford.

She just released a paperback version of her new book, "The Best Year of Your Life" and is running a promotion. She's put together a great presentation I think you'll enjoy – it's based on her formula for creating a year filled with joy, passion and success -- it's entertaining and fun to watch.

Go here, and watch 30 seconds of inspiration that will launch you powerfully into 2006, then read on to learn about how you can receive four life-changing gifts from Debbie and Earth, Wind & Fire bass guitarist Verdine White.

PPS: You can help by clicking here to forward this message to a friend. There's always room for more Daymakers in the world!
